Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a bartender to craft memorable guest experiences with thoughtful wine and spirits knowledge. You will greet guests, take orders, pour drinks, and coordinate with servers to ensure timely service in a lively boutique setting.

You’ll maintain bar stock, follow safety and service standards, and adapt to a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role offers growth opportunities within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Wine and spirits knowledge and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promptly serve food and drinks.
• Pour drinks with standard pours and process POS orders accurately.
• Serve food and drinks and assist servers with orders.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or rude.
• Stock bar, change kegs, and clean equipment.
• Clean shelving, equipment, and glassware.
• Follow uniform and grooming standards.
• Maintain clear communication with staff and management.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar.
• Be flexible and take on additional duties as needed.
