Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to lead due diligence, assessment, and redevelopment efforts in the Midwest. You will manage Phase I/II ESAs, coordinate field investigations, and ensure safety and budget compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental projects, a relevant degree, and licensure (PG/PE) preferred. This role combines field and office work with occasional travel in the Great Lakes region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes state.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield projects; professional licensure (PG/PE) strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with safety, quality, detail, budget, and deadlines.
• Oversee Phase I and II ESAs, asbestos and lead-based paint sampling projects, providing guidance on scope, schedule, and budget; senior review of deliverables.
• Prepare proposals and other marketing materials; assist with grant applications for environmental projects.
• Scoping and scheduling field investigations; coordinating field contractors and laboratories.
• Writing and reviewing technical work plans, reports, and health and safety plans; health and safety planning.
