Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking substitute teachers to support classrooms across partner schools in Broward County, Florida. You will supervise students, implement lesson plans, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment throughout the day.

The role is non-exempt and paid hourly, with Scoot providing a W-2 employment arrangement. A teaching credential or 30-day substitute permit is preferred, and opportunities for ongoing training and development are available.

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria

• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
