Job summary

Bond Health in Brooklyn is seeking a School Psychologist to provide evaluation, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention under general supervision in line with program policies and regulatory standards. You will monitor treatment plans and progress and convey intervention techniques to others.

Responsibilities include annual psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing counseling, crisis support, and parent training while working with families and school

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology and NYSED School Psychologist Certification.
  • Experience with developmentally disabled populations preferred.
  • Strong assessment, counseling and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides annual psychological assessment in intelligence and adaptive behavior.
  • Develops treatment plans and monitors progress.
  • Delivers services per treatment plan: behavior management, counseling, crisis intervention.
  • Conducts parent training and counseling to assist child.
  • Collaborates with families, staff and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintains records, participates in team meetings and annual reviews.
