NYU Langone Health's Family Health Centers in Brooklyn is seeking an Early Childhood Education Aide for a Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., part-time schedule.

The role supports an Early Childhood Educator by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and encouraging parent involvement. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent; CDA and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• CDA Certificate preferred.
• Health and Safety trainings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Early Childhood Educator in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Work with a team to provide stimulating environment and activities.
• Encourage parent involvement.
• Set individual goals and record anecdotal observations for each child.
• Keep room clean and help with toileting; other classroom duties.
