Job summary

Women In Need (Win) in Brooklyn, NY seeks an Affordable Housing Specialist-Resident Coordinator to support families’ permanent housing search in shelter, coordinating housing services to meet contractual requirements. You will guide subsidy applications and build partnerships with brokers and landlords to access current housing resources.

You will collaborate with Case Managers on housing strategies, organize housing fairs and workshops, and travel to housing sites as needed to assist clients in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree with 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Deep knowledge of the New York City housing market and subsidy programs.

Responsibilities

• Guide families through housing subsidy applications and processes.
• Build partnerships with brokers/landlords to access current housing resources.
• Coordinate housing viewings, applications, and expedite as needed.
• Collaborate with Case Managers on permanent housing strategies.
• Coordinate housing fairs/workshops and client outreach.
• Travel to housing sites to assess opportunities.
