Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Bronx, NY school-based setting. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift, with a compensation range of $63K–$78K per year.

New grads are welcome to apply, and eligibility includes NY licensure and CCC-SLP. The SLP will assess, plan, and deliver therapy, develop IEP goals, collaborate with staff and families, and maintain documentation for progress and meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA (ASHA CCC-SLP).
• Strong understanding of child development and speech-language milestones.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations.
• Intervention Planning: Develop IEP goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using articulation and language techniques.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support communication needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records and prepare reports for IEP meetings.
