Job summary

The University of Delaware seeks a Full-Time Early Head Start Teacher in Bronx, NY. Qualifications

• AA in Early Childhood Education; or 90 credits of an approved study plan.
• Completion of the Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Experience working with families and children aged newborn to three and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and supervising services for a classroom of eight children.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with EHS and DOHMH regulations.
• Consult with teacher prior to communicating information about individual children to parents.

Experience working with families and children aged newborn to three

Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership

Ability to maintain written records and manage time

Bilingual English/Albanian/Spanish

Ability to lift 35 pounds easily

Education

AA in Early Childhood Education or 90 credits towards degree
