Job summary

Olgam Life is seeking a dedicated Day Porter to support our Bronx center. This full-time, in-person role ensures cleanliness, safety, and compliance with facility standards. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to work independently, with occasional travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities include inventory handling, FIFO storage, waste management, and basic maintenance. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies PTO and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct oversight.
• Ability to evaluate regulations and recognize the need for changes in operations.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional communication and reporting to center leadership.
• Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, or as needed locally.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage inventory stock for soft goods and supplies.
• Use FIFO to organize storage areas.
• Maintain waste management including biohazard waste disposal.
• Perform light maintenance and building improvements (e.g., replace signage, paint, bulbs).
• Inform center management on facility needs requiring escalation.
• Clean all common areas including breakrooms, lobby, waiting areas and building perimeter.
