Excelsior Care Group in the Bronx, NY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our premier Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In this full-time role, you will assist the Director of Nursing in daily operations, ensure CMS/NYSDOH compliance, oversee QA, mentor staff, and drive resident safety.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a salary range of $120,000–$130,000 annually.

Qualifikationen

• Active New York State RN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of nursing leadership as ADON or equivalent.
• Experience in QA, risk management, or regulatory compliance preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CMS and NYSDOH regulations and survey processes.
• Experience with SigmaCare and SNF Metrics preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations and clinical services.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, NYSDOH, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Maintain survey readiness and participate in regulatory inspections.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and retention of nursing staff.
• Lead and participate in QAPI initiatives.
• Educate clinical staff on best practices, infection prevention, and risk reduction.
• Oversee risk management, including incident investigations.
• Analyze incident trends and implement corrective actions to improve resident safety.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of incidents and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and resident-centered care.
• Serve as a visible, approachable clinical leader throughout the facility.
