RAM Recruiting's Far Rockaway, NY skilled nursing and rehabilitation center seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a warm, family-like team. The ADON will partner with the DON to lead nursing operations in a large building offering short-term rehab and long-term care.

This ADON role is a true step-up opportunity for experienced ADONs, Unit Managers, or Nursing Supervisors. A NY RN license and SNF/LTC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license is required
• Experience in clinical management as ADON/UM/Supervisor
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting

Responsibilities

• Support the DON in overseeing daily nursing operations
• Supervise and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Monitor quality of care, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Lead survey readiness, audits, and quality assurance initiatives

Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Far Rockaway is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a warm, family-like team known for strong clinical outcomes and a modern, clean environment. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) partners closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations in a large, busy building offering short-term rehab and long-term care.

This Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role is a true step-up opportunity: we welcome experienced ADONs as well as Unit Managers and Nursing Supervisors ready for the next level. Prior nursing home experience is required.
