Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a client-focused professional to support brokerage service operations. You will handle client inquiries, execute account actions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely processing while complying with policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Security/investment industry knowledge is required.
• Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
• Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office 365) is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls to the Brokerage Service Group service center.
• Executes client account servicing activities within required time frames (wires, transfers, cash movement, gifts, documentation, account openings/closings).
• Develops understanding of steps involved and coordinates with operations teams.
• Adheres to risk management and compliance policies and escalates issues as needed.
• Learns business applications and online tools used for client servicing.
• Identifies opportunities for service efficiency and process improvements.
• Assists with new partner onboarding.
