Jobtailor is seeking a leader to manage daily trucking brokerage operations in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee load planning, dispatch, and carrier selection, ensuring on-time performance and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in truck brokerage or 3PL with strong leadership and data-analysis skills. You will collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to boost customer satisfaction and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in truck brokerage, transportation management, or 3PL.
• Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, and spot market operations.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in operations or dispatch management.
• Proven leadership ability with a hands-on, results-oriented style.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across teams, customers, and carriers.
• Data interpretation to identify trends and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the trucking brokerage team, including load planning, dispatch, carrier selection, and on-time performance.
• Monitor workflow to ensure freight execution meets customer requirements, cost expectations, and company policies.
• Support, coach, and develop operations staff.
• Analyze margin, cost per load, carrier utilization, and service-level metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service on handoffs, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners and customers.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects supporting network and operational excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned
