Job summary

Broker Online Exchange, an AppDirect Company, is seeking an Account Manager Associate to grow a broker portfolio and onboard partners. You will manage day-to-day broker accounts, support pricing and contracting, and build strong relationships with brokers and internal teams.

You will identify new business opportunities, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to revenue while maintaining organized records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Sales Support, Account Management Support, Business Administration, or similar role.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong administrative skills.
• Positive, professional attitude with ability to support partners and peers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to interact with brokers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and identify a high-performing broker portfolio through targeted outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn InMails), onboarding them effectively, and supporting long-term success.
• Own day-to-day management of broker accounts, ensuring tasks to support, price, and close new business are completed accurately and on time.
• Serve as primary contact for partner brokers, providing proactive support and guidance to help them win and retain customers.
• Support pricing and contracting processes, helping brokers structure competitive deals and gather customer information.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Develop an understanding of suppliers, products, pricing structures, and broker operations, becoming a trusted resource.
• Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts, analyzing trends and growth potential to drive revenue.
• Assist with special projects to improve operations and partner experience.
• Keep organized records of deal progress, broker activity, and account health.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and supplier teams to ensure smooth quote-to-contract flow.
• Occasionally travel for meetings or events to strengthen relationships.
