Job summary

AIG is seeking a Broker Director to strengthen strategic broker relationships and guide growth from key retail partners. This role reports to the Broker & Market Leader and contributes to a national broker coverage team, coordinating with internal partners and broker counterparts to deliver insights and drive engagement.

  • 5+ years of experience in broker or carrier relationship management, underwriting, or commercial insurance broking.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership.

Broker Director

Reporting to the Broker & Market Leader, this role is responsible for managing strategic relationships with up to five key retail brokers and serving as a core member of a national broker coverage team. The Broker Director collaborates closely with internal partners and broker counterparts to deliver insights, deepen engagement, and accelerate growth.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership.

For positions based in San Francisco, California, the base salary range is $150,000-$175,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
