Job description

The Account Manager is responsible for assisting the producer/broker in executing growth and profit initiatives by providing exemplary support services and developing/maintaining positive business relationships with retailers, carriers, and co-workers. This role is primarily office-based for qualified applicants, with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements.

Qualifications:

1. Solicit renewal information on accounts
2. Endorsement processing
3. Prepare thorough submissions for marketing in accordance with company policies and procedures
4. Rate new business and renewal submissions within assigned authority or under the guidance of the Underwriter
5. Review carrier quotations for accuracy and forward to agents for consideration
6. Follow-up with retailers to ensure binding of coverage
7. Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, including documentation requests and correspondence
8. Review policies, endorsements, and account activity for accuracy
9. Process affidavit filings as required
10. Understand and adhere to state tax requirements
11. Maintain industry knowledge through continuing education and seminars

Requirements:

1. Property & Casualty license is required
2. Minimum of 2 years of E&S experience
3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and achieve results
5. Ability to follow and help develop processes and procedures
6. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
