JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Property Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating and underwriting property risks for our wholesale clients. You will leverage your expertise to assess complex risks, develop tailored insurance solutions, and build strong relationships with brokers and clients. This position requires a deep understanding of property underwriting principles and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Underwrite and assess property insurance risks for middle market accounts, focusing on the West Coast territory.
2. Analyze submissions, evaluate risk exposures, and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
3. Collaborate with brokers to develop customized insurance solutions that meet client needs.
4. Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, providing exceptional service and support.
5. Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions.
6. Mentor and support junior underwriters, sharing knowledge and best practices.
7. Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and strategies to enhance profitability and growth.

Qualifications
