LAGO (GLENVIEW) is seeking a dependable Broiler Cook to join our high-energy kitchen. You will broil, grill, and finish meats, seafood, and vegetables to guest specifications, maintaining speed and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include station setup, temperature control, inventory checks, and coordination with sous chefs to ensure timely ticket execution. Ideal candidates have prior broiler/grill experience, strong attention to detail, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous broiler, grill, or high-volume cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work at high heat and maintain quality under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up broiler station with required tools and ingredients.
• Broil and grill meats, seafood, and vegetables to order and specified temperatures.
• Monitor broiler temperatures, times, and multiple dishes for consistency and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with sous chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist with daily prep and closing duties as needed.
