Job Overview

The Omni Dallas Hotel, located in downtown Dallas and connected to the Dallas Convention Center, is seeking a Broiler Cook. The hotel emphasizes environmental sustainability, meeting LEED Gold standards, and offers a dynamic work environment with comprehensive training and mentoring.

Responsibilities
  • Support restaurant chef/sous chef and supervisor
  • Help train staff
  • Control quality and consistency of all food served
  • Prepare station for service 15 minutes prior to opening
  • Ensure all necessary food supplies are available on time
  • Assist in controlling food costs
  • Learn all menu items produced by your station
  • Handle refrigeration and cold food service
  • Produce orders efficiently
  • Ensure product availability across outlets
  • Maintain sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized daily
  • Follow Ecosure rules and procedures
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order
  • Supervise maintenance of walk-in coolers
  • Oversee daily food production
  • Monitor kitchen safety
  • Maintain food quality and consistency
  • Adhere to hotel and kitchen standards and guidelines
  • Manage prep and inventory lists
Qualifications
