Job summary

The Athletic Club of Columbus is seeking a Broil Cook to work on our broiler, grill, and sauté stations. You will collaborate on menu ideas, ensure food quality and temperature, and present dishes with careful plating for our exclusive clientele.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean prep areas, following safety standards, and supporting a team‑oriented kitchen. This role is 2nd shift, Tue–Sat, with competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have prior culinary experience.
• Knowledgeable in various cooking techniques.
• Willing and flexible to work some weekends and holidays.
• SERV SAFE certification preferred.
• Attention to detail and service orientation.

Job description

The Broil Cook will be involved in the broiler, grill, and sauté stations of the kitchen. Providing exceptional service to our exclusive clientele will require an individual that has a passion for service and a knack for working in a collaborative environment.

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensure freshness of food and ingredients, and that food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
• Collaborate on menu and food preparation techniques and substitutions when necessary.

Experience

Salary and Schedule

$22-$24 an hour

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 2 PM -10 P
