Job summary

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking a Broadcasting Assistant for an in-office, temporary role in New Jersey. You will serve as a nightly liaison among the Broadcast Operations Center, Replay Center, and NBA, WNBA and G League representatives to shape the narrative of televised games.

Responsibilities include writing telecast reports, evaluating productions, and developing ideas for broadcast content while coordinating with partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of NBA, WNBA, NBA G-League, and NBA 2K.
• Knowledge of television industry and streaming landscape; background in sports/broadcasting preferred.
• Strong writing skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as nightly liaison in Broadcasting Operations Center for live production and content updates.
• Write telecast reports recapping broadcast elements for national games.
• Evaluate broadcast productions for innovative content and execution.
• Develop ideas for NBA broadcast content projects.
• Review NBA/WNBA/G League broadcasts to identify best practices.
• Collaborate with broadcast partners on projects, including on-site support when needed.
