Job summary

The NBA in Secaucus, NJ seeks a Broadcasting Assistant to act as the nightly liaison for real-time production, programming, and content updates across NBA, WNBA and G League broadcasts.

You will write telecast reports, evaluate productions for best practices, and develop innovative ideas for broadcast content while collaborating with partners and supporting digital archives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Excellent knowledge of NBA, WNBA, NBA G-League and NBA 2K.
• Strong writing skills and ability to report clearly.
• Familiarity with television industry and streaming landscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the nightly liaison in the Broadcasting Operations Center for real-time production, programming, operations, and content updates.
• Write telecast reports for national TV games recapping broadcast elements including sales/marketing initiatives and production quality.
• Evaluate diverse broadcast productions for innovative content and production executions.
• Develop ideas for NBA broadcast content projects.
• Review and analyze local NBA/WNBA/G League broadcasts for best practices and storytelling.
• Work with broadcast partners on projects including game/event production and ancillary programming content.
• Provide day-to-day support using the NBA Content Archive, clipping and distributing real-time links.

WORK OPTION: In Office_________________This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (10) months.Position Summary:As a Broadcasting Assistant, you will play a pivotal role as a liaison between the Broadcast Operations Center, Replay Center, television partners and NBA, WNBA and G League representatives on a nightly basis. Through analysis and reporting on televised games and programming, you will help shape the narrative of our sport. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our local and national broadcasting initiatives, ensuring our content remains at the forefront of sports media.
