Job summary

FOX Television Stations is seeking a full-time Broadcast IT Technician to support master control, on-air servers, transmitters, and related broadcast IT systems. You will maintain interfaces with Fox Hub/Spoke networks to manage local and national content and assist with remote location productions.

The role requires 2 years of college in a broadcast-related field, 3+ years in a major market broadcast or IT environment, and a valid driver's license. Lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of college or technical school majoring in a Broadcast related field.
• IT related field or equivalent broadcast experience.
• At least 3 years working in a Major Market Broadcast environment or IT environment.
• Valid driver license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain network interface with Fox Hub/Spoke systems to send and receive local and national programming and commercial content.
• Install various new television electronic equipment and software to enhance our ability to produce local news, sports, productions and daily on-air programming integrated with commercial content.
• Assist with remote location productions.
• Perform other related duties as deemed appropriate and as assigned.
