Job summary

Evertz Microsystems Limited is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to join the team in California. You will report to the Senior Manager of the Technical Operations Centre and provide expert support for advanced broadcast technologies, ensuring optimal system performance and rapid issue resolution.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and customers, monitor systems, and act as a primary contact for multiple cases, contributing to project delivery and operational excellence.

• Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

• Self-motivated with initiative to identify and resolve problems independently.
• Willing to relocate to California for long-term, on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Act as an expert-level advisor on complex broadcast initiatives.
• Monitor systems, verify availability of broadcast hardware and servers, review logs.
• Ensure incidents follow SLA guidelines and are resolved.
• Serve as single point of contact for multiple support cases.
• Provide feedback on solution requirements, designs, and guidelines.
• Coordinate with peers and customers to ensure delivery of project deliverables.
• Establish testing requirements to validate technology platforms.
• Document departmental and technical procedures.
