Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks a Supervisor, Technical Operations Center in Miami to lead broadcast operations across studio, field, and remote environments. You will ensure reliable transmission, guide teams, and drive operational excellence for live events and scheduled operations.

The role requires five years in broadcast ops, fluency in English and Spanish, and strong IP/transmission expertise, with leadership responsibilities across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in broadcast ops or related television/media environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written & verbal).
• Strong knowledge of IP transmission workflows and infrastructure.
• Experience with satellite, fiber, IP, and bonded transmission paths for live/recorded ops.
• Experience in a Technical Operations Center or similar mission-critical broadcast environment.
• Proven leadership supervising, training, mentoring, and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, deployment, and delivery of operational solutions within the Technical Operations Center.
• Plan and execute day-to-day activities, staffing, and operational concerns of TTOC teams.
• Ensure services meet internal customer expectations; collaborate to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain knowledge through training, documentation, and new tech adoption.
• Manage capacity and resources to support daily ops, events, and changes.
• Develop and improve operational processes, standards, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic enhancements.
