The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s WUNC Radio seeks a part-time Broadcast Operations Assistant in North Carolina to support operations and programming, ensuring shows air as forecast on the station program log.
Key duties include processing underwriting credits with VT, maintaining templates in VT and Wide Orbit, coordinating with Content Depot and PRX Exchange, and handling on-air log changes, with occasional hosting duties as needed.

The Broadcast Operations Assistant will work alongside WUNC's operations and programming staff members to ensure that shows, underwriting and promotions air over the broadcast signal as forecast on the station program log.
The position will include the following specific duties:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
