Job summary

Software Resources seeks a Master Control Operator for a contract, on-site role in Centennial, CO. The MCO will support the on-air operations team during a major systems migration in 2026, handling quality control, rehearsals, scheduling, and live event support.

The role requires flexibility for all shifts, including overnights and holidays in a 24x7 operation. The candidate will manage playlists, execute changes, monitor 150+ channels, and ensure flawless commercial integration and continuity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with media/communications cert or assoc degree.
• Solid understanding of television production and broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

• Support on-air operations during major systems migration in 2026, including quality control and break support.
• Maintain and adjust on-air playlists; execute program/commercial/marketing changes; support live events.
• Own commercial integration to ensure flawless breaks during taped and live programming.
• Monitor 150+ channel streams for continuity and issue identification.
• Ensure readiness of every material for on-air playout to guarantee programming continuity.
• Respond swiftly to on-air discrepancies with sound decision making.
• Simulate viewer experience to verify audio, video, captions, and picture quality.
• Collaborate with Operations Supervisors to recover from on-air issues.
• Communicate changes to automation playlists with partner production teams.
