NEP invites you to join a 12-month Engineer Apprentice Program offering hands-on rotations across Field Shop, Fiber Optics, Copper, Panheads & Power Systems, and Systems Integration. You’ll learn from seasoned engineers, work with industry-leading broadcast tech, and gain real-world exposure to live productions and events.

Successful candidates will have an associate or technical degree in a related field, strong technical and problem-solving abilities, and willingness to relocate and travel

Qualifications

  • Associate/technical degree in Broadcast Communications, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Formal training or hands-on experience in electronics, broadcast technology, cabling, or IP networking is preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Field Shop: Equipment preparation, troubleshooting, maintenance and shop operations.
  • Fiber Optics: Handling, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Copper: Cabling, connectors, termination, testing, and broadcast signal infrastructure.
  • Panheads, Sticks & Power Systems: Camera support equipment, panheads, tripods, basic electrical and power distribution.
  • Systems Integration: Equipment installation, wiring, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Systems Integration Road Assignments: Apply technical knowledge alongside NEP engineers in live productions.
