iHeartMedia in Fresno seeks a Board Operator to ensure broadcasts run smoothly and sound great, delivering clear audio for millions of listeners. You will handle live and pre-recorded shows, coordinate with talent, and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and compliance.

You will monitor programming, manage ads and transitions, and support remote broadcasts and events as needed, working with NexGen and Adobe Audition within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with NexGen/Broadcast automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions and ad placement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
• Record, edit, and load audio content using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and regulatory/internal documentation.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
