iHeartMedia, Hartford-based, is seeking a Board Operator to ensure broadcasts run smoothly and sound great across live and pre-recorded shows. You will work with studio equipment, coordinate with talent, and manage ad placements while maintaining regulatory logs.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude with NexGen and Adobe Audition, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with broadcast equipment and automation systems.
• Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced live environment.
• Clear communication and collaboration with teams.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma required; certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
