Job summary

Point Broadband is hiring a Field Service Technician in Dawsonville, GA to perform new connects, upgrades, and service changes for residential customers. You will install outlets, modems, and related equipment, and train customers on proper usage.

The role requires a clean driving record, ability to pass background and drug tests, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed. In-house training is provided to develop technical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years in broadband field preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform new connects, reconnects, upgrades, downgrades and service changes
• Install/relocate outlets and customer premises equipment
• Train customers on equipment use and basic network concepts
• Troubleshoot RF, signaling, and associated network components
• Maintain inventory of tools and network assets
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on-site
