Job summary

Point Broadband is hiring a Field Service Technician in Opelika, AL. You will install and service customer equipment, maintain network assets, and travel to customer locations. The role requires a reliable, self-motivated individual with basic networking aptitude.

Training is provided for candidates with foundational tech skills and a clean driving record. Responsibilities include connecting services, installing wiring and converters, and ensuring quality signal levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years broadband experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform new connects, reconnects, disconnects, upgrades, and service changes.
• Install outlets and connect peripheral equipment.
• Train customers on equipment use and ensure proper signal levels.
• Troubleshoot up to the customer device and RF plant sections.
