The Goddard School Pflugerville is hiring a Morning Part-Time Teacher Assistant to join our supportive team of early childhood educators. The role involves partnering with a Lead Teacher to foster a warm, safe classroom for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, with duties including routines, activities, and curriculum support.

Ideal applicants have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely support young children
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children
• Must be willing to prepare snacks, lunches, and breaks for any classroom
• Preferred: Prior experience in a licensed child care center
• Preferred: Experience supporting infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children
