Job summary

The Goddard School of Pflugerville is seeking an Afternoon/Part-Time Teacher Assistant to join our caring early childhood team. You will support Lead Teachers, help maintain a safe, engaging classroom, and assist with routines for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

This role offers a 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. schedule, competitive pay, and benefits including health insurance, professional development, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to safely support young children.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll partner with a Lead Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
