The Elegant Child in Wildwood is seeking a full‑time Assistant Teacher for our Two‑Year‑Old classroom. Located at 513 Strecker Rd, Wildwood, this role offers $15.50–$17.00 per hour and opportunities for professional development in a caring team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass all background checks.
• Preferred: previous childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in alignment with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that promote growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and improve as needed for program quality.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet all physical requirements.
