Prysmian Group in Bridgewater, CT, seeks a Process and Development Specialist to implement, optimize, and industrialize manufacturing processes and new products across engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance.
This hands-on role focuses on safety, quality, throughput, and Right The First Time performance, with exposure to roll forming, TIG and laser welding, extrusion, annealing, and fiber cable manufacturing. You will train operators and collaborate across facilities.
The Process and Development Specialist is a hands-on technical role responsible for implementing, optimizing, and industrializing manufacturing processes and new products. Working across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance, the position improves safety, quality, throughput, Right The First Time performance, cost, and equipment reliability. Key technologies include roll forming, TIG and laser welding, extrusion, annealing, and fiber cable manufacturing.
This role requires regular work on the manufacturing floor, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 10 lb, frequently up to 25 lb, and occasionally up to 45 lb. Reasonable accommodation may be made for qualified individuals.
