JGM Fabricators & Constructors—a 75,000 sq. ft. AISC Advanced Bridge Certified shop in Sinking Spring, PA—seeks a Bridge Welding Specialist (AWS D1.5) to join our production team.

You’ll review shop drawings and WPSs, strike your first arc before sunrise, and weld heavy plate assemblies for lift spans and trestles, coordinating with crane operators for safe placement. The role requires 2+ years of structural steel welding, current or prior AWS certifications (D1.5 preferred), and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Follow AWS D1.5 requirements and job site safety rules.
• Read weld symbols, WPSs and shop drawings with precision.
• Maintain weld quality, accuracy and clean finish.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural bridge components per AWS D1.5.
• Read and interpret weld symbols and shop drawings.
• Handle weld prep, grinding, gouging, and post-weld cleanup.
