Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Area Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Lead to head the NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Program.

You will lead the continued development of a bridge and tunnel inspection program, plan staff training, maintain program quality, and drive client relationships across multi-disciplinary teams. This role involves field inspections, reports, load ratings, and occasional supervision of related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or higher.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board.
• 10+ years of bridge/structural inspection and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage area bridge and tunnel inspection programs (NY/NJ) and select national bridge and tunnel projects.
• Develop Quality Assurance requirements and procedures for the inspection program.
• Perform Quality Control reviews for bridge inspection submissions.
• Identify business opportunities and lead marketing efforts for proposals.
• Lead bridge inspection teams and develop inspection reports.
