Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Program Lead to head our NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Program. You will plan staff training, maintain program quality, coordinate workload, pursue business opportunities, and serve as Project Manager or Quality Control Reviewer for bridge and tunnel inspections.

Fieldwork may include NBIS inspections from ground, rope access, or hydraulic equipment. The role requires leading teams, ensuring QA, and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering required.
MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

Lead area bridge and tunnel inspection programs (NY/NJ).
Develop QA requirements and procedures for the inspection program.
Perform quality control reviews for bridge inspection submissions.
Identify business opportunities and lead marketing efforts for proposals.
Lead bridge inspection teams and develop inspection reports and load ratings.
