Job summary

S.T. Wooten Corporation seeks a Superintendent for the Bridge/Structures Division, located in Raleigh, NC and Wilmington, NC. You will oversee field teams, manage schedules, safety, cost, quality, and subcontractors to ensure on-time project completion.

Regular duties include orienting new staff, evaluating personnel, maintaining records, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations. Strong focus on communication, device proficiency, and attendance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 4 years foreman/superintendent experience in bridge/structure projects.

Responsibilities

• Orient new personnel to policies, safety rules, and job responsibilities.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of assigned personnel.
• Review daily records and verify accuracy.
• Maintain daily log of conversations and events for reference.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with policies and safety.
• Direct personnel in equipment use, cost control, and productivity.
• Evaluate costs/schedules and coordinate job assignments and training.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
• Maintain positive relations with stakeholders to support progress.
• Perform other duties as needed and be proficient with smart devices.
