Job summary

gpac is seeking a senior bridge leader in the Greater Chicago Area to own major bridge projects from planning through delivery. The role requires an SE license and 15+ years of bridge/structural design and project managementexperience.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and quality, build trusted relationships with public-sector clients, and mentor engineers while guiding design decisions and supporting proposals. Competitive base salary with ownership opportunities.

Qualifications

• SE license required.
• 15+ years of bridge/structural design and project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET‑accredited program.
• Experience delivering transportation projects for public agencies.
• Strong knowledge of applicable bridge design standards.
• Proficiency with bridge design, analysis, and drafting software.
• Proven client leadership and staff development skills.
