Job summary

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs of bridges and structures, with emphasis on analysis and rehab of existing bridges.

Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days per week. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 2 years of related experience or equivalent coursework; proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and design software such as RCPIER, STAAD and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience.
Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with no experience accepted.
Experience via coursework, projects, or internships can count toward qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

Design conceptual, preliminary, and detailed final designs of bridges and structures.
Perform structural analysis and design of bridge components per codes and standards.
Coordinate with project managers to meet requirements, budget, and schedule.
Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Ensure regulatory compliance on publicly funded infrastructure projects; telecommuting up to 3 days/week.
