V3 Companies, Ltd. is seeking a Bridge Structural Engineer to help shape our built and natural world through ambitious projects across Woodridge/Chicago, IL and other North American offices. You will join a large, multidisciplinary team collaborating to deliver highway bridge designs and related structures.

The role involves modeling, analysis, load ratings, and cost estimation on projects for state and local DOTs, with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree; master's preferred.
• 4–8 years bridge design/analysis/load rating/inspection experience.
• EIT license required; PE/SE license preferred.
• Experience with AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards.
• Proficient in MicroStation; OpenBridge Modeler a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare engineering drawings, including 3D bridge modeling.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
• Perform bridge inspection and load ratings.
• Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.
• Prepare construction specifications.
• Work closely with other V3 disciplines on multi-faceted projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.
