V3 Companies, Ltd. seeks a Bridge Structural Engineer to contribute to career-defining projects across North America, with offices in Woodridge/Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; and Denver, CO.

You will prepare drawings, perform structural analysis and load ratings, conduct bridge inspections, and prepare specifications while collaborating with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists in a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET Accredited university; Master's degree with a structural focus preferred.
• 4-8 years of bridge design, analysis, load rating, inspection experience.
• Experience with DOT/municipal projects.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards.
• Proficient in MicroStation; OpenBridge Modeler a plus.
• Knowledge of design software OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, STAAD.
• EIT license required; PE or SE license preferred.

Here's what you'll do:

• Prepare engineering drawings, including 3D bridge modeling.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
• Perform bridge inspection and load ratings.
• Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.

We're looking for:

• Experience in projects for clients such as various departments of transportation, state and local municipalities.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards.
• Proficient in MicroStation. Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler a plus.
• Knowledge of design software (OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, STAAD).
• EIT license required. PE or SE license is preferred.
