Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Structural Bridge Designer to join our growing Structural team. You will perform engineering models, analysis and designs, and support documentation while coordinating drafting for client projects. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

The role supports data collection, modeling, and design calculations; you will work with Project Managers and travel to various sites as needed, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT (or intent to obtain P.E.) preferred.
• Experience or ability to work in a team on challenging projects.
• Willingness to perform field inspections and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assimilate data; perform modeling, analysis and design calculations.
• Draw design details under supervision of Project Managers.
• Coordinate drafting of project elements and organize design files.
• Perform field visits and apply applicable codes and standards.
• Develop knowledge of CADD and Microsoft software.
