Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of stable work experience.
• Must pass required weld test and fitter test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Certificate in AWS D1.1 weld test where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC).
• Welds in ground, above ground, and below ground positions.
• Prepare material by chipping, peening and grinding.
• Weld structural materials (plates, sheets, girders, tanks) and common metals.
• Read blueprints and plan fitting operations.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
