Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Bridge Safety Leader to oversee on-site safety for heavy civil construction projects, including bridges, railways, and marine work. The role requires planning, directing, and implementing safety programs across multiple projects.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, train crews, perform audits, and report findings. A Bachelor's in Occupational Safety Health and Fire Science and at least 5 years' bridge construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree focused on Occupational Safety Health and Fire Science.
• At least 5 years of bridge construction experience.
• Experience with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Environmental compliance experience.
• Experience with concrete/steel bridge structures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with executing safety strategy and zero-accident culture.
• Ensure job site safety including training, documentation, audits, and reporting.
• Monitor daily construction activities for OSHA compliance.
• Develop and implement safety programs for projects in the territory.
• Lead safety training for crews.
• Conduct regular site visits to all projects in the territory.
