Qualifications

• Two-year technical trades training or degree required; substitution allowed with transcripts.
• Must have valid Class D driver's license and a Class A CDL Permit with no airbrake restriction and a tanker endorsement.
• Strong reading, writing, and comprehension of English.
• Ability to communicate with the public and coworkers, including via two-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations in steel fabrication and erection for bridges and structures to maintain safety and minimize public disruption.
• Carry out concrete work for bridge construction, repair, and finishing to specification.
• Execute carpentry tasks related to bridges, buildings, and structures adhering to codes and standards.
• Assist with safety inspections and prepare bridges/buildings for painting to meet federal/state requirements.
• Provide traffic control setup as required.
