Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Construction Inspector to manage road, bridge, and associated construction projects valued from $1 to $50 million in Maine. The inspector will work closely with contractors, complete daily reports, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualified applicants should have a High School Diploma, 5 years of experience in construction inspection, and valid driver’s license. Preferred candidates will possess an Associate of Science degree in a related field and experience with construction management software.

Qualifications

• 5 years of applicable experience in construction inspection.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn to read plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily work and report to the Resident Engineer.
• Complete daily reports, measuring and calculating unit price quantities.
• Ensure safety regulations are upheld.
