Job summary

Acrow in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Project Engineer to prepare customer approval calculations and establish drafting procedures for steel bridge structures. Under general direction, you will develop project-specific instructions and ensure compliance with AASHTO/AISC standards.

The role requires 4–6 years of related engineering experience, proficiency with AutoCAD or related CAD software, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
• 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or PE licensure preferred.
• Experience with steel bridge design and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete engineering calculations for steel bridge structures and components.
• Review drawings for completeness and technical accuracy.
• Develop project-specific written instructions and drafting procedures.
• Travel to other Acrow locations or client sites as needed.
